Mu Aye Pu School and Projects
"Saw Bo Mya Memorial 7th Day Adventist School"
This is a mission school in much need. General Nerdah the KNDO leader have asked us to assist in caring for the schools needs from administration to caring for the needs of the children. Karen Outreach provides school supplies, food and teacher salaries. At the present the school has over 200 students. Many new students have arrived due to last years conflict where many villagers became homeless and sought refuge at a Buddhist monastery. At the monastery there is food shortage and a lack of education for the children. The people are unable to return to their villages due to new land mines and fear of the BGF(Burma Border Guard Force), so many of the children have arrived at this school to receive education-food and care-We are grateful to those who choose to enable us to provide for the children's needs by sacrificial prayer and giving..
