Build a DormitoryA school home is vitally important in a land where most families can not afford to feed their children and where the children have to walk through land mined terrain to gain an education. Karen Outreach are attempting to start small village schools so the children can remain with their families and still obtain an education. But not everyone is blessed to live near a school so the need of dormitories are still urgent. Through the long rainy season this is becoming even more crucial.
Do you have friends or family who want to get together and raise funds for a school dormitory in one of our mountain schools? |

School suppliesEducation is a key to overcoming poverty. But most of the non Thai government Buddhist schools along the Thai Burma border are dilapidated and lack resources, making the learning environment both unsafe and unproductive for students.
Your gift will provide teaching supplies, textbooks and more. |
Support a refugee camp teacherThe teachers who reach out to engage and inspire children in refugee camps are extraordinarily brave and committed. $125 can provide a courageous teacher with the encouragement they need to continue to guide children toward a more stable future. Receiving the gift of a monthly salary is a precious gift.
Please help them to be able to provide properly for their own family. This is a huge need and blessing. |

Give a gift of a blanket$5
As you can see in the picture there is a time when even in a tropical land like Thailand, the temperatures dip low and we shiver and can't get warm without having at least four or five blankets...but what about the children in our mountain schools living at high elevations and having no blankets or warm clothing?
The gift of a blanket is to keep a child warm to remind them of God's love and that there are those who care... |
Give a gift of water$1500
Your gift of $1500 will provide a whole village with running water. Children are often forced to walk many miles every day to get water for bathing and cooking. Often they gather the water from dirty muddy water holes and sickness result.
We believe EVERY child deserves clean water, and we’re passionate about following the example of Jesus in helping the poorest of the poor. Give today and transform a village! |
Medical careEach year more than 6 million children die before their fifth birthday. Often, all they need is basic medical care to treat preventable illnesses, but clinics are inaccessible or there is a lack of medicines and supplies.
Intestinal worms are one such threat to children that can be treated with de-worming medication. But without medicine, the worms that enter a child’s body through contaminated water or infested soil grow and spread, robbing the child of nutrients and bringing terrible pain or even death. With your help, we will have the ability to treat children from head to toe—ridding them of diseases, chronic pain, and vitamin deficiencies, as well as fighting malnutrition that amplifies the effects of every illness. Karen Outreach is supplying rehydration salts, antibiotics, antimalarial medications, de-worming medication, vitamins, and more to help children get healthy and strong. |
Food for a hungry childHow do we feed so many hungry children?

Hygiene suppliesShampoo, soap, laundry detergent, tooth brush and paste these are some other basic needs of the many children we care for in our schools and in our home. In the mountains the people do without, they wash with sand and scrub without soap. Many diseases exist and much skin conditions and sickness.
Such a gift for a family would be a treasured memory. |
Help us provide for our childrenReach out to our 17 orphaned and abandoned children whose lives have been devastated by war and sickness. But who now are part of our large family. Your gift will help us to continue to meet their daily needs such a home, food, medicine, education, clothing and more. Some of these children have expensive medical needs. It's a wonderful way to give tangible help and hope to hurting children

RiceOne 50 pound bag of rice is $17 at Karen Outreach ministry head quarter we feed about 70 people a day rice three times a day. This amounts to about $60/week just for rice. In our schools rice is also a daily staple and we spend hundreds of dollars every month just to buy rice to provide food for all the many children to feed.
